The need has never been greater. 50,000 youth in our region go home to an empty house after school. The majority live in poverty. This is unacceptable.
At the Boys & Girls Club, we focus on providing safe places every day after school and in the summer. Through daily programming and mentorship, we set our sites on these core outcomes: academic success, workforce development, healthy lifestyles, and character and citizenship, helping youth reach their full potential. We serve daily meals, and give kids the support they need to feel physically and emotionally safe.
We’re bringing a brand new clubhouse to Illinois’ second largest city!
In partnership with schools across our region, we will deliver programs at more local schools.
Mobile Boys & Girls Clubs will bring educational and recreational opportunities to communities where kids need us most.
These Club experiences focus on workforce opportunities for teens, connect them with employers, get them paid, and on track for a 21st Century career.
