Change the world for a child

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois warmly welcomes individuals looking to volunteer for a great cause. Every year, hundreds of volunteers donate their time to making a positive impact on the children we serve. Your time spent helping at our club is greatly appreciated. As little as one hour per week is all it takes to have a positive impact on a child’s life.

Corporate Volunteering

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois welcomes corporate, school, and club volunteer groups of any size.

Corporate Volunteer Opportunities include:

Gardening at the Elgin Clubhouse
Reading to BGC kiddos at the South Elgin Clubhouse or at one of our Aurora school-based sites
Career chat at the Schaumburg Teen Center
Assist in classroom spaces at the South Elgin or Elgin clubhouse
Assemble special themed “kits” for Club kids and teens
Clubhouse beautification
Host a field trip at your place of business

Individual Volunteers

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois welcomes corporate, school, and club volunteer groups of any size.

Join Our Board

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinios welcomes members of the community to join one of our boards.

Volunteer Requirements:

Complete Volunteer Application
Criminal Background Check
Sex Offender Registry Check
Attend A Volunteer Orientation
Review Volunteer Handbook
SSN or other appropriate form of identification*

* this is required to complete background check
